What does buying one case pack mean?
A case pack is the quantity of units sold together. For example, an item marked C/P 24 contains 24 units per case; ordering one case means buying those 24 units, not one individual unit. Check the product’s case pack and case price before adding it to your cart.
How Great Buy compares parcel shipping rates
Our parcel quoting uses Shippo to request available rates for the packed case dimensions, weight and delivery address. UPS, USPS and FedEx are parcel carriers; Shippo is the platform used to compare carrier services.
The quote uses the lowest eligible returned rate per box for each item and adds the box costs together. Different items in the same order may use different carriers. Available services depend on the carton and destination, so every carrier will not necessarily appear for every order.
Why carton size matters
A lightweight but bulky case can cost more to ship than a compact one. Parcel pricing can reflect both weight and the space a box occupies. The outside shipping carton matters, not just the dimensions of one retail unit. Oversized or heavy orders may be better suited to LTL pallet shipping.
